Here’s an eBay listing with at least five lies in the listing’s title alone. “vintage Case Tested 1920-1940 Knife goldstone, Near Mint”.

It’s not vintage, not Case Tested, not 1920-1940, not goldstone, and not “near mint”. But it is a knife. With a BIN price (OBO) of $300!!!

Used to be that if sellers didn't know they didn't say. I used to say ignorance is bliss but I'm afraid it is now prevalent on eBay.

But it could " be buffed to mint" couldn't it? That has to be my all time favorite Ebay claim. Such egregious lies about knives on Ebay are getting to be the norm.
