The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

These handle scales are made by Santa Fe Stoneworks (Kaleidoscope series)
Thanks for the information, do you know the time frame when the work would have been done? Is Santa Fe Stoneworks still in business? I think I remember seeing some work they did on some of the last Camillius folders made (last tang stamp series). Very nice scales, they were done in a beautiful Touques stone, a nice light blue... if I am remembering correctly...

Santa Fe Stone was the first thing that came to my mind. They worked a lot with Camillus so.... It is a cool looking knife.

I think this is the only one I have from them. It was given to me by one of my wife's aunts after her husband died. They had bought it while on vacation in Santa Fe but I don't know when.

That is beautiful! ... I think I saw some of their work around 2013-2014. I am going to ask around in the local collector's circles and see if there just might be some pieces in town... There used to be a big group of us that met on a regular basis and had a "Trade-Fest" You might see a knife get traded around 4 or 5 times before it ended up in someone's pocket for good (or at least until the next time ). Covid put a big damper on the "Trade-Fest" and they never really recovered...

I discovered this Camco jack in my parts box and as it had no handle material, it was redone with stag. It is 3 and 5/16" OAL closed. It took a really nice edge from the Lansky too.

Yesterday afternoon, this “TL-29” electrician or lineman, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it definitely did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, CAMILLUS (related), pocket knife accumulation. It is a CAMCO, one blade, two tools (a wire stripper with a screwdriver tip), one tang stamp, 3 3/4” closed (not including the bail), two springs, “TL-29” electrician or lineman, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, “CAMCO (over) USA" The main blade does have a VERY GOOD half stop. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a WICKED closing snap. The tool does have a VERY GOOD half stop. The tool does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The tool does have a WICKED closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning at all.
I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
