That is a really nice pair of knives, Kevin.

This week we had five knives total. I think that is the lowest number yet. This is week 48, so I suppose everyone had pretty well posted everything they have, me included, some more than once.

July 15 will be the one year mark: on that day we should have a real blowout post to celebrate the anniversary.

A fine way to kick off WW, Joe ::tu::

Nice Curly Oak on your Mini-T, Q, and I love your last photo with the colorful rocks as a backdrop! ::tu:: Looks more purple than blue in the picture, so I looked at the pictures of the Blue Curly Oaks on Shepherd Hills website, and don't see any blue or purple in their pics. Either way, it's a beauty like all your others! ::tu::

I'll add this GEC Wharncliffe #48 that I picked up a couple of months ago, since we are having a bit of a slow WW this week.

Mahalo, Kevin ::handshake:: Yeah, I've noticed the lighting and background have a pronounced effect on the appearance of the Blue Curly Oak handle. I see all kinds of subtle colors in mine.....especially outside in bright sunlight. Most of the ones I've seen on eBay actually look more gray (at least on my monitor). Like is nearly always the case, there's no substitute for the real life, in-hand experience.

Having said that, here's an Orange Pearl Kirinite Case T.B.101117 Swayback Gent that looks pretty much exactly the same both in hand as well as in photos

Very nice Wharncliffes, Joe, Q, and Kevin. I really like those older knives. Here is my contribution: neither especially old or new..

Another cool Swayback from your legendary Wharncliffe collection, Q! ::tu:: No denying the colors on that one!

Beautiful Hibbard Wharncliffe Whittler, Mel! Looks like those MOP scales have a lot of fire in them. ::tu::

A couple DFC era Schatt & Morgan 99s as Wharncliffe Wednesday draws to a close.

Scott - that is a nice knife wherewith to start this Wednesday!

My knife for today is a Parker. It is a small knife, 3.25 inches closed, but it has a nice big blade.

Nice Wharnies everyone ::tu::

I'm still working through my Case 117 Swayback collection. This one with Sky Blue Jigged Bone and Silver Script Shield is one of my favorites.

Love that one Q!

Here are some of mine:

This one is from Ivoryman's collection.

A couple from Germany. The Kamphaus I believe is a grafting knife.

Those are two unusual knives. Out of all the Wharncliffes posted in this thread I do not recall seeing any knives just like those. Maybe I should review all 32 pages just to be certain ...

That little Northwoods Mini Moose has a bit of AAPK history and quite a few air miles on it as well.....Lansky1 picked it up at a show back east then I got it from him in a trade and then Ivoryman got it from me in another trade. Now it resides with orvet where I suspect it will live out the remainder of its days. It's a cool little knife.....don't see many factory knives quite like it, but it is remarkably similar to Lansky1's famous Ratcliffe mod ::nod::
