Post by American Blade 92 »

Just letting the contact adhesive cure a few more minutes and then it will be pocket-ready.

It can be addicting!

May I refer you to this section of the forum?
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... m.php?f=37

The Knife repair and restoration sub-forum. It may be better to post your work in that section, as this current area is for general knife discussion.

Keep up the good work!

Do you use the contact adhesive for carbon steel as you do stainless steel?

No apologies necessary, it's just nice to keep similar topics together. Members like to "surf" subforums for things they are curious about or interested in. Also, the other mechanics can see your work, and maybe pick up a tip from you. :)

This is a most informative post, I have learned that this is definitely the way to go on repairs such as this. In the past I have been using magic putty with mixed results.

I've tried silly putty but the results were laughable.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
