Grabbed a pair of new Levi’s to use as a background for this shot and look what fell out, my lost Schrade Imperial user. YES!

Mahalo, Zach
Funny story about that: muskrat man had finished swapping out the original plastic handle scales with natural bone and reprofiling the blade and was just about to send it back to me when he realized he’d forgotten about the red spacer that I had requested
So he quickly re-did it and installed the spacer. It might seem like a minor thing to some people but it was very important to me. I feel it improves the overall appearance of the knife; little details like that can make a significant difference.

Nice shots of the Schrade, ThatWeirdKnifeGuy. My favorite is the photo on the bare bark.
RR on Denim is a nice pairing, Alan.
Q, both those photos are great, but I prefer the second one, stag on gnarly bark!

Re: Knife Photography
I wanted to honor the man who once owned this knife by doing what he perhaps might have done with it today. I took a few before photos, then I cleaned the blade off with alcohol. I carried it with me today using it as my paring knife. Then I put it to a stone, just a little, for a wiiiiicked edge. These old Schrades are known for that
Then I stuck it in a tree for some pictures. I was by the lake at the park today, which I feel would have been more in the spirit. Alas, I was busy wrangling my boys so I was unable to snag a picture or two.
Naturally I am unable to get my photos in the right order, so the fruit picture and the two last pictures are the befores. I am clearly not the patina master that Iman was

Not teardrops but close
Edit: I originally inserted a YouTube link that would play “Tears on my Pillow” by Little Anthony and the Imperials” but it didn’t work properly so check it out for yourself. An all time great!
