I think yours started out as a single blade electrician/lineman pocket knife. Or, it started out as a single blade AND wire stripping tool electrician/lineman pocket knife, with the tool being removed(?) at some point in its history.

Thanks again! I have a Camillus lineman knife as well (that some people call a TL-29), and from the same era (short line), and they are different sizes. Not that the knife is question isn't for the same purpose, but it didn't come from the same type of knife. Definitely looks like the same kind of handle material (walnut? I'm not good at identifying woods).

I love those old dark woods, just thick with history. Something about them.

Need help identifying. I just got this neat little stockman. A bit worn, but I'm really drawn to the filework on the spacer. It feels like a Camillus to me (maybe a 67 pattern?) Any help would be appreciated.
All stamps are worn smooth.

Smooth bolsters
High Carbon blades
Long pull nail nick
Synthetic scales

Nice stockman Gringo ! If you could tell us how long ( closed) it is that would help . And are the scales held on by 4 prongs? Look inside the blade well and you would see little tabs bent over if so . That would also help date it .
It does look to be a Camillus .

Hello, I'm Czech so my English is not that perfect, sorry.
I bought a knife, Camillus N.Y. U.S.M.C., but the point of the blade is different from the Mark 2. Do someone know where it belongs to? Date of production or some other informations?

I guess the electrician's knife is actually made for the tool co. as it is marked "Channel Lock #11" ... ... so I wonder if Channel Lock had this in their catalog at one time? I have seen that a Camillus #1 with the same markings except the number being different: "Channel Lock #10
