Very recently, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the most recent example to be added to my collection. It is a GEO. SCHRADE, one blade, one tang stamp, 3 1/8" closed (not including the loop or ring), florist, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "STAINLESS (over) GEO. SCHRADE (over) KNIFE CO. INC. (over) B ' P ' T. CONN." The main handle side says, "Say it with Flowers - STAINLESS STEEL" The other handle side says nothing, it is blank. This pocket knife is obviously NOT an ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife. However, this pocket knife is definitely a "cousin" of the ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY, the EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY, the ETCHED P. COMPANY and other cutlery companies that manufactured pocket knives of a similar, simple, pattern or style. This is my second, ALL METAL, "Say it with Flowers" pocket knife. However, this is my first, ALL METAL, "Say it with Flowers" pocket knife that has a hawkbill blade. My other ALL METAL, "Say it with Flowers" pocket knife, was posted under this topic or thread, back on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. The main blade does have a GOOD half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off.

It also became the latest example to be added to my collection. It is an EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY (1916-1919), one blade, one tang stamp, 2 7/8" closed, all metal, advertising, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "EAGLE (over) KNIFE CO" The main handle side says, "WEAR RED GOOSE SHOES" The other handle side says nothing, it is blank. Overall, this is my thirty-eighth, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY pocket knife. ALL thirty-seven of my other, EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY pocket knives, have been previously posted. Although this pocket knife is NOT AN ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife, it DOES fit into the "cousin" category. This pocket knife is a "cousin" of the ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY, the GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE CO., INC., the VALLEY FORGE CUTLERY COMPANY, the ETCHED P. COMPANY, and other knife or cutlery companies that manufactured pocket knives of a similar, simple construction. The main blade does have a WEAK half stop. The main blade does have an OK opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT require cleaning at all. I just wiped it off.

Yesterday morning, my visit to the post office produced this advertising, slide lock, fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the most recent example to be added to my slide lock, pocket knife collection. It is a U.S.A., one blade, a cap lifter or bottle opener handle, 3" closed, all metal, advertising, slide lock, fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knife. This pocket knife has a slide lock that unlocks the blade, open or closed. It also locks the blade, open or closed. The slide lock work perfectly, with no issues. The main handle side says, "GOLDEN - BRENT" and has a small symbol or logo on the right. The main handle side also says "U.S.A.", just above the pivot pin. The other handle side says nothing, it is blank. This is my third, "GOLDEN - BRENT", slide lock pocket knife. Overall, this is my thirtieth pocket knife that is in this, slide lock, fob or key ring, pattern or style. My other twenty-nine pocket knives in this, slide lock, fob or key ring, pattern or style, have ALL been previously posted, under and throughout, this topic or thread. While this pocket knife is definitely NOT an ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife, it DOES fit into the "cousin" category. This pocket knife is a "cousin" of the ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY, the G. SCHRADE KNIFE COMPANY, the ETCHED P. COMPANY and other cutlery companies that manufactured pocket knives of a similar, simple, pattern or style. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This is just an “introduction” to my very next post…..

Once upon a time, on Sunday, March 27, 2022, I purchased a group or lot of pocket knives to obtain one, particular, pocket knife. The group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased, is shown in picture #1, posted below. In the picture, the pocket knife that was the target of my purchase, is the “silver” pocket knife with black grooves in the handle. It can be seen or located, in the bottom vertical row, second pocket knife from the right. I thought I was getting my third ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife, with grooves in the handle(s). At the time, I had two ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knives, with grooves in the handle(s). Those two ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knives, with grooves in the handle(s), are shown in picture #2, posted below. The pocket knife that was the target of my purchase turned out to be, NOT AN ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife, but a MADE IN CHINA, Third Reich, Nazi, FANTASY, again I EMPHASIZE FANTASY, pocket knife. This NON-ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife is shown in pictures #3, #4, #5 and #6, posted below. I was and I am, still amazed that the Chinese would choose this particular pattern or style of pocket knife to “copy.” But, this pattern or style of pocket knife DOES qualify it as a “cousin” of the ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knives. That’s why this pocket knife is posted under this topic or thread. As of this posting, I now have four, ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knives, with grooves in the handle(s). These four pocket knives are shown in picture #7, posted below.

Recently, my visit to the post office produced this pocket knife. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also became the most recent example to be added to my collection. It is another, National Socialist (Nazi), Third Reich, FANTASY, I REPEAT AND EMPHASIZE FANTASY, pocket knife. It is a CHINA, one blade, one tang stamp, one tang etch, two blade etches, two handle stamps, 3 5/8" closed, all metal, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp is a swastika. The main blade back tang etch says, "CHINA" One main blade front etch says, "DRITTES - REICH" The other, main blade front etch, is a swastika. The top, front handle stamp, is the SS double lightning bolts. The bottom, front handle stamp, is a swastika. The main blade does have an OK half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. This is my second CHINA pocket knife that is this pattern or style, that was NOT an actual ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife. My other CHINA pocket knife that is this pattern or style, was previously posted under this topic or thread. If this pocket knife did NOT have ANY markings on it at all, I would swear that this was an ALLEN CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife. WHY WOULD THE CHINESE COPY THIS PARTICULAR PATTERN OR STYLE OF POCKET KNIFE? This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off.
