remington knife blade opener
i'm not sure which section to post this in, but this seems like the most logical place to start. i just bought this on the Bay.. it's a repro and it was cheap, but i bought it cuz i really could use it. i've had quite a few beater knives that have thumbnail-eaters for blades until i can clean/oil them, and this seemed like a smart AND fun way to solve the problem. anyway.......... my question is, i can't seem to find anything by way of history of these things and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject. thanks, fellas !

Nice. That should save a fingernail or two.

Does not really give any information. Thought there was one in dad’s stuff I could not find it. My son paid for one for me at Kane County Flea Market last year. I promptly lost it. There were a few at Badger Knife show this year and I bought another.
Always in my pocket quite a few knives that eat my one thumb nail.

I like the MM and the Winchester. I’m sure the Dunlap works great a bit bulky in my pocket.
