, I don't use filters or editing of any kind other than edge cropping or zoom on pictures I take. I guess I've dabbled, but in general I feel it's cheating. It won't erase the picture in my mind's eye which, in spite of your efforts, still only sees this

That run up on Moki’s is what convinced me to stop collecting Case knives and focus on Moki’s and other Japanese high quality knives. The precision and tolerances on a Moki is like no other knife, not including custom knives. GEC does a pretty good job of keeping their run ups tight but still doesn’t compare to Moki.
I’m going to get ripped for this but after years of collecting everything from inexpensive Asian knives to expensive customs and many GEC’s I’ve come to the conclusion that GEC is highly overrated. How can collectors justify saying about their lockbacks that bladeplay is expected in that pattern. Or, comparing how sharp their knives are straight from the factory is poor. I don’t want to hear that I always put my own edge on a new knife anyway. Sorry this turned into a bashes because many of the GEC knives I owned were special.
