The only quill pen I have is this John Fale. It is 2 and 15/16" OAL closed and is bone handled. None of the books I have make any mention of John Fale. Does anyone know anything about that tang stamp?

I bought this one a while back at the Badger show. I know next to nothing about it ::shrug::
I'm thinking it's ivory, but I'm not 100%.
