Greetings from the Netherlands

Post by kwackster »

Hello from the Netherlands :-)
Fairly recently i learned about this forum and today i decided to join.

Had the knife virus from about the age of 5 and it never went away, even had a few knife-related jobs in the past.
I still collect, sharpen, restore, modify, trade & sell, and after all these years these activities still bring me joy.
Will post some pics of what i have & what i do in the appropriate subforums.

All the best from the Netherlands,

Sounds like you'll fit right in with a crew that has been bitten by the same bug.

Not sure what that means, but instructions for posting pictures on this site can be found here https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... m.php?f=98. I know .jpeg photos work. Maybe .img extensions are not compatible with AAPK software. ::shrug::

I’ve spent substantial time in your beautiful country. I worked there about two years, off and on, for a company headquartered in Eindhoven. On week-ends and holidays I explored many wonderful towns, festivals, etc as far away as the train would take me there and back in a single day.

Thx guys, and i managed to make a first post in the Marble's subforum :-)

The Netherlands still has many beautiful places left, but especially the bigger cities are increasingly suffering from what we call "fastfood architecture"; big ugly blocks without any soul, seemingly designed by USSR architects.

If any of you ever plan to visit this small country let me know, maybe i can provide some useful advice where to go and what to see.
