I have had this 5 1/4" brute "on deck" to be posted here for the past 4 or 5 weeks and kept forgetting.

That little Craftsman is a really nice looker, and as usual for one of your posts, it is very nicely presented.

Another special Case single blade, this one was my Christmas gift from Miss Joy, our 1st married Christmas in 1966. Broke the hinge pin many years ago and only after joining up with AAPK did I realize Case would repair it. It got a bit of a spa treatment, we thought it was a new knife when it came in the mail! (This knife was a bit of a let down, the year before we were married she bought me a .357 Colt Trooper for Christmas. ::shrug:: Not really. :) )

Joe - very nice old Challenge.

Ike - the brute is a beauty.

Tim - I always like Craftsman and that one looks mint.

Treefarmer - those are fine Case knives with a lot of backstory.

My contribution today is a little Schrade 12OT.

Thanks, Joe, and I meant to asked if you knew anything about the etched company on the blade?

Redrider - knife is a cool bit of Americana.

Here is my submission for today; a small fruit knife.

Here is a better picture of that etch.
I have seen this etch on a few other "daddy Barlows".
I think someone commented on this etch on the Robeson but I don't remember where. Maybe a search.
Sorry I don't have much information on that.

Mel,
The small fruit knife is a looker! The stamps on the blade, what do they indicate?

Here for the Single Blade Saturday is a Camillus Rope Knife. According to tang stamp information here on the forum, it is 1941-'46 year of production. I have 2 of these, this one is better of the two:
004.JPG
003.JPG
Question for the Camillus collectors, both of my knives have no stamp on the pile side of the blade. I noticed several pictures on the web showed this pattern with USCG markings. Were there military and civilian productions of this pattern during the era indicated?
Thanks for any info on this pattern! ::handshake::

Celebrated this rainy Single Blade Saturday by rehandling this worn little Utica keychain knife for giggles. Had to oversized the pins because the pivot hole was wallowed out.
