Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

It's an awesome classic sized Barlow, Coley, and very pocket friendly. ::nod::👍
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Great way to look at it. Good on you, and very cool knife.
It's a bit disconcerting that you picked up so many with blade wobble though. I think I'd have to let Case know about that
You should send them a copy of your post..

Found another Gunboat, really liking the 'heft' of these knives, not supersized like my Bulldog but very respectable!! The red is gorgeous in person, esp now that I put a skim coat of renaissance wax on her. Like a layer of Cherry Syrup without the mess!!

I felt the same way. The wobble wasn’t just terrible but I felt it. I was bummed because I want one, but I’m happy with what I got.

Thanks C-Wade, Kerry, & Floyd!
A guy named Jeremi Poe (bladenation on Tiktok) did the work.
A seller at the Asheboro NC Show last week had many giraffes done by him and a couple other custom makers.

Well Cudgee, besides beautiful covers, Case knives are proven to be a good investment. I used to be turned off by the post 70s, but if inspected before buying, the quality (although not pre 80s quality) is still there. I love selling them, and cherry pick/collect the best from what I purchase for resale. Case is King in the regions I live near.

Does your wife ever think you need help picking out socks because you're staring into your drawer for inordinate amounts of time?

That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend. ::tu::
