I am no expert but I do think a bit more info would help. Are the scabbard mounts silver colored metal or hallmarked silver? If they are real hallmarked silver that would indicate a high quality, and probably British origin, and instantly add a few (hundred) dollars to the value. Is the handle made of carved wood or is it some kind of cast resin or plastic? Why do you say the pommel is "Cairngorm" Smoky Quartz Pommel Stone?" Do you have some paperwork?


Just from the photos you posted, that dirk could be a genuine Scottish made dirk worth several hundred dollars, or a Chinese made copy worth maybe fifty dollars. Just as a guess, I am thinking Chinese and and fifty dollars on a good day.

Well, after lots of searching and researching I have found the silver scabbard mounts and the Clan associated with them.. But still can't find a similar fileworked blade or oval half-moon guard. If it is a copy made this fine - I'll take two more at $50.00 dollar a piece!
I've already had several offers of hundreds of dollars for it.

It’s a fine looking knife, but I doubt it is very old. It could have come from one of the many Scots-based custom shops selling clan accessories and cutlery. It’s somewhat of a cottage industry in Scotland. Here’s a link to an example of one such cutlery site https://www.flettforge.com/ where one can buy a custom-made dirk, sgian dubh, etc. There are many others, some of them peddling cosmetic tourist junk. Caveat emptor. Prices vary depending on what embellishments such as gem stones, metal, etc are included. Many clans have their own web sites (some even have more than one). Since you know the clan name try searching for a clan-specific web site. That may have a link nor links to cutlers making customized clan knives.
