Very nice, clean lines on all the above knives!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Nice one, a bit more modern construction on it compared to most of the others we’ve seen.

Yes, Perceval developed their own patterns and don’t follow the traditional ones… Reason why they have a linerlock for instance. They are very elegant nevertheless

Re: French knife of the day
Thought I would share my favorite French knife here. I purchased this knife on the lower level of the train station in Zurich, Switzerland in 1982 and it has resided locked away in my general collection since. Stainless steel blade, scissors, bail and pins and marked NAGENT INOX J.M. Very nice horn handles. Best wishes to all.

Fresh out of the mailbox. Excellent f&f and w&t. I have a feeling this one is going to see a lot of pocket time. If I have one comment it is a little thicker than I prefer but that’s it.

Re: French knife of the day
Very nice piece… I like how those Douk Douk age, always a lot of character.
And at first I thought it was a chrome handle
Clearly an understated piece
