You and John are not knife "Challenged ".Waukonda wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 3:22 pm Here are a couple that I just picked up from Roger (peanut740). Aside from the fact that they are both Challenge, they share the same etch. They are marked "Schell's Quality Seeds, Harrisburg, Pa". These 2 patterns would be a good fit for a seed company.
Has anyone else out there run across this etch in any other brands or patterns?
Yes and I traded the best one for two nice farmers jacks. I'm still unsure that it wasn't a mistake.

It’s partially illegible, but I can make out “1.50” on the blade.

Re: A CHALLENGE for you.
An unknown (top) and a Challenge Cutlery (bottom). The Challenge has a worn and very faint tang mark. (I also posted these about a year ago on the Celluloid Eye-Candy thread.)
Thanks for looking,
Chris J.

Here's a pair of CHALLENGE jacks. At least 94 years old so the celluloid should be stable. Interested? PM me. J.O'.
