Need some advice

Post by Coach60 »

I had an opportunity to buy an older gentleman’s collection and I bought all of his Case knives and a mix of others. The question I have is he had several regional knives, both fixed blades and folders. I don’t know anything about the custom market and I’m not sure what would be a fair offer to make to him. The makers are Z. McGarity, J. Neel, C. Dunn of Shiloh, GA, and R. Henderson & Son out of Columbus GA. Thank you.

Found comparable knives for sale and sold for Zollan McGarity at: https://www.arizonacustomknives.com/kni ... y-zollan/ which says that Zollan McCarty started making knives in 1947. His grandson Chris English carries on the legacy as Z Custom Knives. Zollan has since passed away.
