Beautiful knife!
Makes me daydream of whittling a chunk of soft pine on a shady porch somewhere in Titusville PA.

Not a bad place to be, in Titusville PA. my mom was from there, born and raised and I have been there a couple of times visiting and I found it to be a very nice 'lill town.

I really like Titusville. I live fairly close to there. My dad and I used to take trips up to Queen cutlery and buy pocket knives from time to time. It's also rich in oil history with col. Edwin Drake.

I bought several knives from the store in the Queen factory years ago... I wish I had bought more of them ::doh:: ... ::dang:: ... ::facepalm:: ... I have visited the Drake Well ... "as Well"... so to speak... My cousin still lives in Conneaut Lake down the road in Crawford County. I have stayed at his place, and I really like that part of the country.

I know how you feel about wishing you bought more knives! I feel the same way. I still feel very sullen about Queen going out of business. It was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in America, so much history. Conneaut Lake is beautiful, they've discovered mammoth fossils under conneaut Lake. Also there are monster fish lurking in the frigid depths.

P.S.
About Queen/Schatt and Morgan they had a treasurer named Jesse Crouch that they made the Jess Crouch single blade knife for, my last name is Crouch and I'm just hoping somehow we were related. 😂

::oh_my:: ... Well, ::paranoid:: ... I've kept this to myself until now... ::paranoid:: ... but when I was there at the lake, I took a stroll along the shore one night and managed to snap a quick picture of one of those "beast from the deep" .... It turns out that you speak the truth!
