Got Some Automatic Knives for sell, cheap

Post by big monk »

Been away from this forum for awhile due to family health issues and other interest. I have almost deleted my entire knife collection, and have some automatics, ( aka. switchblades ) that as you know, can't be sold on the ""FleeBay"" - lost my wife in December, so digging around in boxes, closets, trunks, drawers, ect. I ran across 4 automatic knives , that maybe, one of you AAPK family members would be interested in ??- will try to describe and give info best I can - most of these are older discontinued knives, all with good opening snap ___ the Benchmade 3550 was one I carried a lot, so has most scratches, no box ---- The S.O.G. , I carried some, but not much handling marks on it, no box ---- the Piranha carried, but not much ware, original box & draw bag included, ---- the Pro-Tech ,I traded for years ago. and when it arrived, first time I opened it, the snap snatched it out of my hands. Spent most of it time in a drawer, with original box . I am listing each knife for about half price, $10 shipping each knife or will sell all, for $300 to your door ( free ship ) ::handshake:: **
1.Benchmade 3550 Pardue - 4in. closed - black - satin finish, 2.98in. blade -aluminum handles - 154CM Stainless - 2.80 oz. - $65 ( SOLD )****
2.Mini S.O.G. TAC Auto - 3.75in., closed -black aluminum handles - 3in. AUS-8 stainless steel blade - $70 (SOLD PENDING FUNDS )
3.Pirahna Bodyguard Automatic - blue - closed 4.40 in. - 3.30 CPM S30V stonewash finish blade - 2.83oz. - $85 ( price drop $ 70 +10 shipping *** )
4.Pro Tech 921S SWAT Godfather Automatic - 5.63 in. closed - black aluminum handles - 4 in. black DCL coated 154CM stainless blade - $110 **SOLD PENDING FUNDS** )

First I'll take it posted for all to see, gets the knife /knives***

I haven't been active lately, but lots of the older members can vouch for me -- I can send pictures of back & front of knives - if interested in a particular knife thanks for looking Monk*** ::tu::

Thank you John -- hoping someone may have an interest in these auto's - they are about the last of my collection from years past. I have no one to pass them on too. I've been using the Kershaw knives with ""SpeedSafe"" opening because of arthritis in my hands & fingers. So bad, I could hardly open a GEC and the Switchblades would jump out of my hand !!! Bought a bunch of the Ganzo knives to sell at the flea markets, ( well made and 440C steel ) then the ""covid crap"" hit us, and I haven't been able to get to a flea market. Glad to see this site doing well, Bryan has done a whale of a job, and this site has always been the best, in my opinion. Take care my friend, Monk ::tu::

Monk is a man of his word and can be trusted. You can buy in confidence from this seller and be sure that what you see is what you'll get. Good luck with the sale Monk and sorry to learn of your wife's passing in December ::pray::

Very sorry to hear of your wife's passing, monk :( Sincere condolences to you.

It seems the age and arthritis thing is hitting a lot of us and affecting our collecting habits and interest. I too have issues with my hands that make opening a lot of my knives difficult (and dangerous!) Still love looking at and holding them, but it does detract somewhat from my enjoyment when I can't open the blades and feel the sharp edges with my thumb. I'm anticipating/dreading the day in the not-too-distant future that I have to start selling my collection once and for all.

Not too long ago I would have jumped on your autos and bought the lot outright. Can't believe someone hasn't snapped them up already for the steal of a deal you're offering!! Just a thought: you might want to consider posting them in the "switchblades" and "knives for sale" forums as well in order to get them seen by a more targeted demographic? ::shrug::

Good luck, and we'll miss you here.....your long-time avatar of the screeching monkey ranks as one of the all-time greatest in my book ::nod:: it was the perfect depiction of how I visualize the knife collecting monkey I have on my back!!

Monk, I’m so sorry to learn about your wife’s passing. My sincere condolences.

As one who has bought from you in the past I too will vouch for your honesty and customer service. I have put those Sackups I bought from you to good use. You have offered some real bargains for sale. If I was in the market for switchblades I’d jump on them, but I’ve never had any interest in them. Someone who is can get a good deal!

We’ve missed your presence here on AAPK. Best wishes for you.

So sorry for loss of your wife Big Monk may she rest in eternal peace and love.
I've got all the switch blades I need and I've noticed like you the flippers are much easier to use.
I wish you good luck on your sales and God bless. ::handshake::

Condolences regarding your wife, if I haven't said so already. My wife's mother has terrible arthritis in her hands. The thing that frustrates her the most is having the desire and energy to do something but her hands won't cooperate. She doesn't even like going to dinner in public because of how she has to use her fork & spoon. Praying you can get some relief, Monk. 🙏

Yes, Bryan has created an awesome site for us knife nuts! ::tease:: ::rotflol:: ::rotflol:: ::rotflol::

Let me add my condolences for the loss of your wife.

I am an old man, like a lot of folks here, and I have arthritis in my fingers also. It is a pain, and I do mean that literally. So far it just hurts more than it debilitates.

Thanks friends, for all the kind words and condolences, and thanks AAPK for letting me be a part of this forum. I have lots of good memories from years gone by, sharin' stories, swappin' knives, and learning new things everyday from members on this forum. My wife always enjoyed going with me, when I sold at the shows and for all those memories, I can smile. Thanks AAPK for everything _____ Monk  ::tu::
