How to close the 2.9-inch Gordon knife

Hello,
I’m unable to close the 2.9-inch Gordon tool from Harbor Freight, even after applying significant pressure.

Jamie, show a couple of pictures of the whole knife, maybe someone will have a suggestion. Might be an unusual liner lock that might not be obvious at first.

Your knife is equipped with a liner lock that must be pressed at the same time you apply pressure to the spine of the blade in order for the blade to close. Liner locking mechanisms are a fairly standard feature on flipper style knives like yours. The lock automatically engages when the blade is fully deployed. The purpose of a liner lock is to keep the blade from accidentally closing on your fingers when using the knife.

The liner lock is found inside the finger choil (cutout) and has “bumps” along the edge. To disengage the liner lock press it towards the pocket clip side while simultaneously pushing on the blade spine.
