Thanks American Blade. This one has a short story with it. I was 8th in line at the opening of this estate sale. As we entered the fellow in front of me had a large folding bag that he opened as we got to the table with 30 or so knives. With one swipe across the top of the table all the knives went flying into his bag. Or so he thought! With the swipe of the table top the Trapper that I got fell off to the side of the table with a small Boker Half Congress. This old 78 year old didn’t loose sight of the two knives and they were in my hands within seconds. Sometimes an old blind squirrel finds an acorn.

QT…H&R stag handled knives are some of the best bargains (especially the pre 2000 versions) in my opinion. You have a great example there.

Picked up a new Henckels stag knife. The 4 blade stockman is new. Got the others out for a group shot.

Clark that is some really great looking old stag. They really knew how to work with stag back in the day. Don’t see a lot of newer knives with so much glorious bark left on it.
