As an administrator and working in concert with Bryan our fearless leader

I wanted to see if the group would have interest in the following idea. I would like to see a thread devoted to focusing on the collection of a featured member. Many of you have outstanding collections and have photographs of them as well. The knowledge on this forum continues to impress me daily. This thread would be for the chosen collector to post photos (how ever and how many they so choose) and then give a history of themselves and thier cutlery items for all of us to enjoy. I, like most of you love to see the pictures. Unfortunately they get scattered about on various threads and I don't get to see all of them. New knives, old, vintage, doesn't matter. Pics and some info is all that is required.
It seemed to me that picking someone may be the hardest part. Of course volunteers would be easiest way but some may be bashful to expound upon their fine collections.
I thought maybe tieing it to the winner of the monthly drawing might be a nice way of saying thank you to the site and providing some useful info back in exchange???? What do you people.
Remember a collection only has to be two or more. You don't need 300 to qualify and any knife is of interest to this group.
Kick it around and let us know what you think.
(Oh and just a hint) plans are being considered for an actual live realtime auction online. How'es that for some fun this year and we hope for it to benefit the NKCA as well.
