Unknown small toothpick

Post by wlf »

Reverse side has Germany Hand Made, so it's not just junk, although I expect not high end. Like I said in the Amber across America thread I've been having trouble posting and loading pictures for some reason.

"GERMAN STEEL" usually means China made.

I doubt it was hand made in Germany or actually hand made anywhere. Since it doesn't say "Made in Germany" to me it implies the stainless steel is German. The mark side stamp looks like a southeast Asian import to me. ::shrug::
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Sorry, my friend, I couldn't resist.

The real question here is....how does a fella with the finest collection in the world of high end Farmers Jacks, end up with a knife like that in his possession?

I believe you are right Wayne.
That what I was trying to figure out!๐Ÿคท
I think it might have been a gift from a kid ?

I was gathering all the knives I might sell, as my nephew wanted me to go to the big flea market he's been going to and ran upon it.
He's been excited about selling some stuff.

What got me thinking was German made knives usually do not say
stainless ( but rather rostfrei ) I believe.

John , it's out in the country on a road towards Williamson, WV.
It's called the Crum bypass.Iโ€™ve never been there, my nephew is a common participant.
