It gets complicated when you’re retired. The outside world still runs on seven days, but retirement weeks are all Saturdays except Sunday.
I see the day of the week when I look at first cup diner.

I always have a fondness for the older Case trappers with the forward positioned smaller nail nick --->

Real nice oldie there, Wayne!
Awesome estate find, Louisville!
Good looking Mini Trapper, Q!
This is my first ever dogleg Trapper. It’s really a real purdy dark green, but no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get the photo to show it the way it is in person.

You might try using a darker background (darker than the knife handle). You’ll probably need to put it on something black; I often use one of those zippered knife cases.

That looks good, Tim.....like something you'd see in a museum ::tu::

Apparently, NKCA really liked that particular shade of jigged green bone; I used to own this Mini Trapper made for NKCA by Queen in 1999 with the same bone

Beautiful Trapper, John! ::tu:: I think that's their PocketWorn Caribbean Blue from the early 2000s. I personally like it a little better than the Sawcut Caribbean Blue they're doing now.

I see your cool blue Trapper, John 8) and I raise you two blue First Issue Wharncliffe Mini Trappers  I really like the pocketworn Caribbean blue color and the jigging style on yours more so than the corn cob jigging on my minis ::tu::

Thanks Kevin - now I know what color to search for ::tu::

Q - those mini-T's are super nice - especially like the "as ground" blades where you can see the tool marks - always wished Case made more of those ::dang::

Q, those single blade trappers are mighty fine!

My contribution for Trapper Tuesday is an interesting Case 6254, a "new grind" that came to me many years ago. I have no idea who did the file work, the man I got it from thought it came from the factory like that. I've never seen anything that mentions factory file work on a standard Case. ::shrug::
