I personally regard the New York Knife Co. as the greatest knife manufacturer in the United States.
(There, I said it --- again.)

The bone handled knives , (maybe all? )were made around 1915 or earlier because of the pick BONE.

I think the Hammer Brand knives were the last NYK made knives, that ended in 1931, I believe the stamp you have is pre WWI.
