Garland cutlery information
Hello, newbie here. My first project, having a heck of a time finding information on this knife. All I can find is Garland cutlery, Germany. I would greatly appreciate any information about it. Thanks

Garland Cutlery Co. Germany is listed in Goins’ Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings. See below for details. Apparently owned by M. Klaas, it says the years of operation were 1913-1940. History tells us that Germany was not real popular in the U.S.A. during much of that time, which is why you'll find many knives produced by German firms during that time having anglicized names stamped on them.

Thanks gents, some very nice looking knives. One thing I've come to realize, pocket knives are a lot like pocket watches. It seems everybody made similar ones, sometimes it takes a bit of leg work to get the information you want. That's part of the enjoyment though. Anybody have a guess what era my is?
