Saw a picture of a mint condition 6384, it had an etch on the main blade, TREEBRAND. Something about a congress pattern, I've begun to like them, even a tiny one like this. :)

Thanks, Kerry. They are press fitted but you pretty much have to use a vise to get them all the way on. If you remove them and want to reuse them, you have to use glue or risk them falling off. No glue is required when they are new. It’s a very tight fit.

Smart marketing by Victorinox, I suppose. You can reuse them but it’s better to buy new ones.

Not mail, but pickups from a knife show last weekend...
- Case 31 1/2 ... '43 ... 99 1/2
- Joe Olson Montana Knifemaker Bowie
- Randall Knives Attack 14
- William Henry T10 Linerlock on bottom ... top???
If anyone knows what model the top one is, it would be greatly appreciated. I think it is a B series 'cause it's a Button Lock.

Just got this Kutmaster in yesterday. Couldn’t resist the bone handles. I know it’s almost impossible to date these things, but do you think the bone handle may make it a little earlier?

Holy cow, Tim! What a beauty!

From what I have found, the Bone handle Kutmasters started around 1937 and continued until sometime in the 50's.
You're right though. You rarely see bone Kutmaster knives. I have only had 2 in my collection.

Thanks, Tony, tmk and Rick! Yea, tmk, that’s kinda what I’ve been able to find. We all know the 1937 date for when they began, but a date on the other end is the problem. Everything I’ve found said other materials were used after the 1950s, so, with the bone handles, giving it a date range of 1937- 1950s seems fairly safe.
