Black scale USA Old Timer

Post by Micah 1974 »

This feels like a silly question but for some reason I can’t find anything on them. I have this Schrade USA 34OT with solid Black saw cut delrin scales. I can’t find any info or photos of this version. Was it a limited edition or maybe someone dyed the handles? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I really can't tell you anything other than I've got a LB-7 with those same black sawcut delrin handles. Good luck in your quest and congrats on a unique find.

I have seen several Craftsman knives with those handles that were Schrade-manufactured knives. I don't recall seeing them on an OT, so it is probably an SFO.

My guess is it's something they did with leftover scales from the Copenhagen knives..

Nice one brother. I'd like to get the whole set, as well as the Skoal.

The Cope peanut is for sale on the site right now. I recently snagged this one as well just to try to complete the set. Good price on it too.

I believe the knife could have come out of a Schrade Harley Davidson Gift Set ::nod::
