Newest knife storage

Just purchased this old Globe 10 drawer type setter box for knife storage. My beautiful wife got it for me as a retirement gift. Now to fill it up!! I also use this card stock file! I apologize if there is already a thread for this type of thing. The wooden Globe came from the Dunklin County Abstract Office and dates to late 1800's.

If I had to pick from looking at the picture, I say Walnut. Mahogany, whether light or dark, would have a reddish cast and I don't see that. So, I say good old Eastern Black Walnut.

Do you see something up close and personal to make you think Mahogany?
