RH 31 sheath knife

The Remington Corporation and the knives that they built have influenced the U.S. cutlery industry more than nearly any other manufacturer. From the time America was settled, to the end of WWI, American knife companies struggled to compete with Britain and German imports, but events that occurred during and after the First World War led to a great change in this phenomenon. Unprecedented opportunities arose, and Remington stepped up to seize the moment. In the process, they created some of today's most prized collectables. In an ironic twist, the next World War played the greatest role in ending the company’s domination of the industry.

Has anyone seen an RH 31 Remington sheath knife for sale recently?

RH 31 is a fairly rare knife. I have had four of them, I think I may have one left. The sheaths are even rarer, I don't remember if the one I have left has the proper sheath or not.

I dug my last one out. Blade is 3&3/4" guard to tip. Sheath is an original Remington but not original to the knife.

Beautiful and very hard to find knife Gene. The fact that you have one and have owned 4 points to your knowledge and dedication to old factory-made fixed blade knives. I've owned quite a few Remington hunters but never an RH-31. Thanks for showing it.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Thanks Wayne! Our friend Brad got my near mint one. I love the pocket knife blade style of top grind on these!
