Re: SHOW YOUR NEW (TO YOU) ROBESON
Dalton’s ShurEdge cigar box is only the second I’ve seen and the other one had different graphics.
Both, however, had that portly gentleman and I believe it to represent Irving Stacey Robeson.
Dalton is off and running on his Robeson quest.

Re: SHOW YOUR NEW (TO YOU) ROBESON
Those five Robeson Girl Scout knives are extraordinary . That brings the count of the ones I’ve seen to eight.
I showed mine, an almost mint example now owned by someone else, to Bernard Levine at the Oregon Knife Show in 2000 and he pronounced it “Fake” and completely dismissed my opinion otherwise.
He pointed out the lack of a choil on the blades and said, “Robeson would never let a knife leave the factory like that.” I notice your knife with the open blades apparently left the factory exactly like that. Do any of the others have choils?
Beautiful set, but maybe you’d think about sharing some of those with other Robeson enthusiasts.

Hey Charlie thank you for your expertise ,
I’ll have to look at the others but I don’t believe any have a choil on the main blade .
As far as sharing them , they are all on display at the Gator show every year and one could be had for the right price . I definitely don’t need five , they just seem to have found me

Re: SHOW YOUR NEW (TO YOU) ROBESON
Yesterday afternoon, this pocket knife arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it definitely turned out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a ROBESON, two blades, two tang stamps, 3” closed, two springs, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp is in the BLOCK style. The main blade front tang stamp says, “ROBESON (over) SHUREDGE (over) U.S.A." The main blade back tang stamp says, “622195”, the pattern number. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does have a GOOD opening snap. The main blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. The secondary blade does NOT have a half stop. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD opening snap. The secondary blade does have a VERY GOOD closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need any cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Found this Robeson Co Cutlery in an antique shop in NY 2 weeks ago. Main blade is seriously a nail breaker.
