Did a revamp of this custom dagger. Did not care for the original handle. Made a D guard and added elk antler handle. Now a big Arkansas toothpick. Anyone know who the maker was? “N” with anvil mark. Blade is 12” long

This is a Bark River Marauder Compaion made in Escanaba, Michigan by Bark River Knives. Bark River makes some outstanding knives. This one has a Blue Corn Silk handle with Blue Glow and carbon fiber spacers. The last picture shows that Blue Glow spacer in low light. Shown with s couple of my Olight Marauder Series Flashlights. Seemed appropriate.

Bark River makes fine knives. That one above from Sasquatch is a direct takeoff from the old Schrade Sharpfinger. A very popular pattern over the years. And the next post by Rob shows a Barkie that I would have sworn was a Randall at first glance! All great knives. That blue light (I mean handle) special is a real looker, too.

I don't have a lot of fixed blade knives that qualify as "purty". Most of mine are plain knives but these two always get second looks.

Looks middle eastern to me.
7in. blade, 11.25 overall.
The handle is horn and maybe ivory, if not ivory, natural bone.
The sheath is copper.

I like this knife. I wish I had kept all the Bark River knives I’ve sold off over the years. This is a gorgeous looking knife. I am going to have to look into that particular model.
