Civivi elementum 2 button stick

Hello,
Looking for some recommendations on this. Bought a brand new elementum 2 and the button stickiness is annoying. I purchased a sencut button lock a few weeks ago for half the price and the button lock is as smooth as butter. I hear that sencut is the same company as Civivi just there more budget brand. The elementum button sucks compared to it as it doesnt go in and out smoothly. I tried oiling it a bit and have also cycled the knife and button at least a couple hundred times. Isn’t getting much better. Was wondering if any tweaks can be done. If not I may send back. Thx

WE Knife Company has 2 sub-brands; Civivi and Sencut. I have found all 3 brands to be well made with fine tolerances. I’d exchange your knife for a new one and I’d bet you’d be pleased you did
