Keep saying I’m not a collector, how many knives do I get to buy before I am?
Anywho I do like the Bulldog knives. I have 1 baby sunfish and one baby elephant toe. I don’t have a stag handle one yet? There is a very nice mini trapper in someone’s store. Just received the Sunfish today. Posted pictures of the elephant toe a while back not sure if I put it here.

LKS, I think you are officially a knife collector when you have to start "de-collecting" what you already have to make room for better ones.

Then I am not a collector of Knives any way. The knives I am trying to get rid of are out of dad’s estate. So they technically belong to the 3 siblings and I. That being said if I am collecting any knives it are the mini/baby Elephant toe/Sunfish. I’m only looking at Bulldog and Case so that limits the possibility’s.

I have a very modest collection of Mercator knives. I am currently awaiting delivery of this Mercator knife that I bought on EBAY this week. It appears to be identical in size, lock, etc to the venerable Mercator K55ꓘ. This knife is marked Mercator on the tang and two lines, "Germany" over "Solingen" on the pile side. It features the text "Bulldog Brand" and the standing bulldog logo. Sorry that the photo isn't any clearer. It's from the EBAY listing and was the only "savable" image on the listing.

Am I correct in assuming that this is most likely an "advertising" or promotional knife that one of the incarnations of the Bulldog Brand company contracted with Mercator to produce??
