At 5¼" (closed) this is the biggest Stag knife in my pile. Compared to a Mini Trapper and full size Trapper this beast is HUGE!
Beautiful Q, really outstanding ::tu:: ::tu::

TBH, I really don't know why I got that big ol' KA-BAR as it's not the type of knife I collect ::undecided:: I guess I'm just a hopeless Stag junkie (and the seller made me an offer that I just couldn't resist) ::mdm::

I love all kinds of Stag, but the gnarly stuff is what really get my juices flowing ::drool:: Unfortunately, it seems to be harder to find nowadays on production knives. To get a knife with gnarly stag anymore you pretty much have to buy custom handmade or get someone like Glenn or Barry to modify one. Always on the hunt for more, though. ::nod::

😍 Gnarly stag! 😍 You said it! My favorite kind ::nod:: ... ::hmm:: , Now that you mention it, ::paranoid:: new production knives don't seem to have the same character as stag from the past. I have picked up some stag from the new Queen offerings and while I am very happy with it, ::suspense:: it is not very gnarly at all.

When the knife your grandfather/father carried or put up is handed down to you...treasure it...open it up from time to time...and by all means, keep it!
