Most posts in this thread are several years old. I may have missed it but I don’t see any reference to a knife for sale, so not sure what knife you are inquiring about.

Yes, that is a very nice folder in what appears to be Elephant ivory. Here is a gentleman's folder in Walrus ivory. Tang stamp top line not readable but looks like EM------H. Then Royal Colonnade Brighton. This was a vacation spot for the new rich and gentry in the1840's all the way to WWI in the UK.Tarnished but hardly used, tight with a loud snap both ways. The rounded tip says a picnic knife but still a nice one to carry to slice through your Sushi roll. Compare the two knives to understand the difference in ivory.

Years ago there was a fellow from the Cincinnati area that had a small collection of those ivory fruit knives. Most of his were 100 % ivory.Blade, scales, backsprings and pins.

Thank you Skip, David and John

Roger, I do have several that are made entirely from Ivory, which is pretty neat!

All nice knives gentlemen,
One thing I don’t think dad had any of in knives.
Somewhere around is a small folding Stanley ruler that I know is ivory.
