I am quite pleased with the Amber Stag, and I am super psyched about the cool spatula blade which, in case anyone missed it on The latest release from Daniels Family Knife Brands thread, our very own Carl B. Rookie "had a hand in the spatula design, and cut them [himself] on a laser CNC at a friend's machine shop". Always makes a knife a bit more special when it carries another member's DNA in the design and manufacture. So cool how the wavy choil forms finger grooves when the spatula is closed and the spear blade is open

Sure looks like a lot of thought and skill went into making that knife. Just beautiful.

This one was pretty cold when I popped it out of the tube and unwrapped it on Friday. Took a bit to warm up in my pocket. Proud to be carrying another piece previously owned and meticulously maintained by an esteemed member of the knife community. The man you know as Ripster also sent along the ice pick the battle axe is leaning on. I spied it amongst a group he had posted a picture of. It caught my eye because I grew up next to the Rib River. A generous gesture for sure, I enjoy the pick almost as much as the knife, which is top notch. I commented on Sasquach's battle axe in the photography thread and Ripster just happened to have one on hand in the exact color I would have picked out of a line-up. Always good to conduct business with a friend

Those are nice knives, I think I have all of them in the display cabinet and maybe one or two in my storefront, I wish I would have purchased more when they were available. Battle Axe fan
