Hi everyone. Merry Christmas from Manitoba, Canada! I’m an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, registered trapline holder and hunting guide. I really appreciate a good knife and this seems like the place to be if you do! Eventually I’d like to try my hand at making some and already have all the tools to do so. I’m looking forward to soaking up some knowledge from the experts out there and maybe picking up a few gems!

Welcome and Merry Christmas! It sounds like you use a knife as the tool it’s intended. I would like to know what you carry and use daily, a small fixed blade, a Buck 110 or something in between.

Welcome Brad . Merry Christmas to you and your family.
This is a great forum . Many skilled knife makers here . Some of us are the outdoors type . Done a bit of short and long line trapping myself . Mostly Coyotes last few years . If you have pics of the outdoors from your area there’s a thread called Outdoors thread in the General conservation area . Many of us post that sort of thing there . And we all enjoy a good knife and pic or 2 .
