Wow that’s looks like a horse of a knife. Most salesman samples I’ve seen were pretty neatly inked. This ink doesn’t look typical to me but then it is a big knife. Beautiful knife no matter what.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Just picked up these 3 Joseph Rodgers knife/tool sets. I’ve seen the cases before but never a whole set. One of them has what I believe is the former owner. Lt General Bourne. I looked him up and he was born in 1882 and had that rank right before WW2, he retired during the war.
