A quiet Sunday morning out in the Sonoran desert..... 🏜

What? You have a pet javelina now? Or do you have your hands on a bow and a bottle or barbeque sauce in your hip pocket?

Oh, nice knife too. I like the way you set up the shot but I gotta' ask, did you use a trail cam to get it?

No trail cameras, invisible wires nor green screen backgrounds, SAS ... .... diamondbacks, Kitt foxes, bobcats and javelina .... all photographed live and up close ... just like Marlin Perkins (or rather by Jim Fowler, while Marlin was back safely hidden in the blind ), during Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.

... Thanks Q .... old Zeus was relaxing in my car (the back seat is devoted to his comfort, packed with multiple dog beds and blankets), that is... until he smelled the javelina... then he was going nuts!!!

I love that style with the engraved bolsters, rattle shield and underbelly pile side etch (mahalo for showing that). I used to have a Dr knife with the same trim.....another casualty in a long line of seller's remorse

Those snake skin knives are very unique: great photos. Your comment about being bitten made me laugh a bit. Just today I got bit by one of my knives while I was trying to photograph it. I always keep a couple of Band-Aids in my wallet, on my desk, in the kitchen ... just in case.
