Here's a few single blade peanuts ... I used to carry these alot when I had to wear dress pants to work years ago in NJ (people there just couldn't relate to carrying a pocketknife) - these are very slim & don't print at all !

Although, having lived in NY and visited NJ many times, I can tell you from experience that the problem was not that "people there just couldn't relate to carrying a pocketknife", no...the problem was that you were wearing "dress pants to work" (that and carrying a little peanut pocketknife instead of a switchblade or a pistol.) It's no wonder you were viewed with suspicion, they probably thought you were insane!

Thx Kevin & LOL Q. Yeah, I hate to generalize, but I've seen people I used to work with literally gasp if I took out a little pocket knife to help someone cut a piece of string or open a package in the office. I literally heard one of the women say to a coworker ... OMG, he's got a knife - in the same tone of voice as if I walked out of my office in tactical gear carrying an AR (when the pantry drawer was filled with 8" bladed kitchen knives). It's just a regional thing I believe - anything that is concealed in a pocket and has an edge is considered a weapon to them (again, obviously not everyone, but more than a few of those that I had direct interaction with). Hence, to avoid a trip to HR, I thought it best to carry something small, like the peanuts...

Mark, I accumulated the set one at a time in the early 2000s about twenty years after they were released. At that time it was hard to find them and even harder to find them with their clam shell boxes. I wish I had matching serial numbers but no such luck. At least I have all six variations complete with boxes. I still keep my eye out.

Updated photos of my A.G. Russell lockback collection. Just picked up the Quince burlwood handled one. Pretty sure that G. Sakai made these for A.G back in the 80’s and 90’s. His Aristocrate brand has some that look exactly like the AGR versions.
