Wilkinson Sword Canoe Pattern

Post by rea1eye »

Thinking about purchasing above knife on internet. Says INOX Stainless and
Sheffield England on 2 separate tangs. I cannot find very much information
on the knife company. Does anyone have a Wilkinson pocket knife or know
about their quality?

Possible Christmas gift..........

Thanks,

Bob

I remember from European history class that the Wilkinson Sword brothers made the guillotine for the French Terror. So, they've been cutting men's necks for ages. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I remember an IXL WOSTENHOLM - Schrade numbered set of something like five different knife patterns from the early 80โ€™s that had a stag canoe. I canโ€™t say I remember a Wilkinson Sword canoe though. The WOSTENHOLM sets were usually broken up and sold. Nice knives, but not really sought after. I really liked the stockman.

That must have been an interesting teacher to mention that. Plus it is interesting that
you remember that mentioned. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was a college professor, and I have always been interested in history. Something like the guillotine was memorable. ๐Ÿ˜‰
