Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I've been on a Hawkbill kick recently, and found this 10 Dot (1970). It's been cleaned but not buffed to death. Nice full blade with half-stops and decent walnut scales. And it will cut. ::super_happy::
Knice.

I just went in to my favorite local antique store and walked out with this beautiful medium stockman! I’ve already used the sheepsfoot blade for a few tasks.

Thanks, I was happy to see it there! My other case knife is stag peanut, and I had wanted a medium stockman AND I’d wanted a yellow delrin knife. So it was perfect!

Although I picked up this Swayback Jack T.B.62117 because I thought it looked like it might be Case's take on ACSB, thanks to knifeaddict1965 I now know that the bone is called Deep Canyon Chestnut. Mahalo for the enlightenment, Kevin ::idea::
