Camillus Logo shield knives

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus Logo shield knives

Post by CutleryCollector-com »

here are Camillus Logo shield knives. a Camillus cracked ice 2 blade equal end pen knife #49. and a Camillus jigged black 2 blade equal end cigar jack #16. I have been searching for any other pattern of these special shield knives. the shields are cast metal. some look to have had red paint inside the shield. are there any others out there?

Can’t help with your question. Will say that I didn’t even know this shield was used in the long line period .
Thanks for posting this.
