Cool little .22 LR single shot pistol. 😎👍 Looks like it could be a top-break. .22 Shorts would make it a nice parlor gun.

Savage made a single shot pistol about the same time. It looked like a single action cowboy gun. It had a block that rotated out to load. It too was in ..22. wasn't around long. I think it was called the 101.

That is really neat, I have never seen one. Is it a break action single shot?

Thompson Center G2 Contender - just got one of these for my grandson in a trade deal. If I want different barrels, does it need to be for a "G2". I think I have heard there is some fit up variations in some Thompson's - I am just not very familiar with these guns.

Contender and Contender Generation 2 all take the same barrels. Since Thompson Center went out of business, prices on barrels have gone way up. I sold all of mine except for rimfires, a 22LR and a 17HMR. The Encore barrels are different as they are for bigger caliber high pressure cases.

Tanks for the info. So, as long as the barrel says "Contender" of some fashion, I am good. Encore - no good for me.

Saw a post for a wanted Crosman Belt Buckle, cool old buckle I might add. Then some Crossman responses; so, I figured why not. Here is a couple of Crosman CO2 pistols the brown handle is in a .177 and the black one is .22. Both are deadly accurate, well, maybe not so deadly unless you are a squirrel or smaller...

Interesting, they bear quite a resemblance to the Ruger MKII pistol. ::hmm::

Indeed, they do. These are pressurized vertical CO2, single shot. The Mark I is the .22 and the Mark II is the .177. They began manufacturing them in 1966 and the Mark I production ceased in 1983, and the Mark II continued until 1986. The triggers are adjustable from 1 to 3 lb. range. They have "Dual Velocity Settings" for how much power they release by selecting the cocking knob position. They also have a Velocity adjustment screw for fine tuning between Hi and Lo power settings, but Crosman did away with that option in 1975.

My buddy dropped this off the other day for me to check over, test fire, and clean. It is a CZ Model 27 in 7.65 Browning (32ACP) caliber. It has a 3 and 3/4" barrel and has Nazi markings on the frame, slide, and barrel. The pebble grain leather holster also has a Nazi marking. I had it out to the range and it fires and functions perfectly. The operating system is somewhat different than we are used to here in this country, the slide locks back after the last of the 9 shots in the mag is fired, but there is no slide stop on the frame. Removing the magazine with the slide locked open causes it to slam shut. Also the safety is applied by raising a lever, and removed by pushing a button under the lever. It was made in 1944, with the Reich on the downward slide, most arms produced were not finished or polished. This one is very rough on the top of the slide and the interior parts.

My Ruger 10/22 is happy too with the addition on this Allen slip on stock mount pouch. It holds 2 extra mags plus a 50 round box of ammo.
