hen & rooster knife

hen & rooster knife

I just got this hen & rooster knife that has Bertram Cutlery Rostfrel stamped on the blade can anyone please explain this ? is it pre 1980 or after & what is Rostfrel?

rostfrei is german for rustfree or stainless steel. can't help on the age, need picture of knife and tang markings.
