Excellent example. Nice grab on that one. I was watching it too. I think a lot of people (especially me) are still confused on how much importing something will cost.

I was concerned about any import taxes but it shipped direct to my house with no additional charges thankfully. He has some interesting knives and is prompt with any questions. Thanks.

Today's flea market haul.

The Queen Winterbottom bone twin fixed blade set is the best of what I found.

Interesting story on it - I bought it and put it in my shoulder bag - then moved on and finished the rest of the vendors.

I got back to my car and drove away...about 45 minutes later I stopped for coffee just before getting on the highway. While stopped, I decided to look over my haul. Imagine my shock and horror to find that the small knife from the twin set was NOT there.

YIKES...I speculated that the keeper on the small one was not snapped when I put it in my bag, and the knife slipped out to the ground.

So I drove all the way back, paid the $3 admission fee again, and caught the vendor just as he was packing up - he had the knife!! Said that he and his wife tried to finde me but to no avail. Happy ending anyway.

I’m a sucker for the electrician knives and the old sharpening stones too. I still have my father’s & grandfather’s sharpening stones.

I ordered this Moore Maker #5109SL in the morning Pacific Time on 10/31 and received a tracking number from MM that same afternoon. The knife hit my mailbox on 11/3 in a hand-addressed kraft envelope. Now that is speedy delivery and customer service!

The scales on this knife are black carbon fiber and white bone providing a nice visual contrast. There is a stainless steel pocket clip on the reverse. The slide lock provides for fast, wrist-flip deployment and solid lockup. There are thumb studs on both sides of the carbon steel blade which like my other MM knives will be protected with PAM cooking spray per MM's suggestion.

This is my 4th or 5th MM and I am pleased with the fit, finish, function, and price point for this one and my other MM knives.

Hi Richard. Mine is a brand new one recently purchased from DLT Trading. I had a chance to use the punch today for a very light task. I read that the punch on these Alox models performs better than the ones mounted on the backside and I cannot argue with that.
