I'm trying to collect information about the man and his work. He operated Williams Forge somewhere in Virginia from about the 1980s to his passing sometime around 2010. Thanks for any info you might have. If you own any of his pieces a photo would be most welcome.

Hey Dennis - I’d try contacting Edmund Davidson at (540) 997-5651 or [email protected] who started the Shenandoah Knife Club show and I believe knew Mark Williams well. Hopefully this is a lead that pans out for you.

I struck out with Edmund, Tom. He knew another smith whose first name was Mark.
If anyone stumbles on the post, I'm still looking to track down info on Mark Williams.

None of this may be helpful. Kind of fun looking for a needle in a haystack.

I agree just bob and thank you for your effort! I was aware of the forum links but a couple of your other links seem to have possibilities so I'll go down those rabbit holes and see where they lead. Thanks again.Kind of fun looking for a needle in a haystack.
