Real or fake? Browning Japan
Picked this beautiful knife up recently and I’m confused on what I’ve read regarding tang stamps. I don’t want to sell a fake. The only marking is the tang stamp pictured.

Is real. Have seen a few others just like it on the site. In general counterfeiters wouldn't bother with something made in Japan. Don't get me wrong, I love knives made in Japan. Recently people have rediscovered the quality in knives made in Japan, but historically the country of origin has prevented a collectors market from growing. Even if you can sell it for a pretty penny now, its just not on a counterfeiters radar. Good knife btw
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.
