Kent N.Y City knife

I have a small two bladed knife about 2 3/4in that has a yellow celluloid look with Lawents of New York city on one side and what appears to be a compass and nautical map on the other side. With Kent N.Y City stamped on the bladed .Can anyone tell me anything about it. I
